Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday visited the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show-2025 (UPITS-2025) in Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar district. The trade show, running from September 25 to 29, is being held under the theme ‘Ultimate Sourcing Begins Here’, with Russia participating as the partner country. Over 2,400 exhibitors, 1,25,000 B2B visitors, and 4,50,000 B2C visitors are expected to attend.
Envisioned under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, UPITS-2025 showcases Uttar Pradesh’s industrial, agricultural, cultural, and technological strengths on a global platform. The event aims not only to boost trade and investment but also to foster a future-ready ecosystem for youth, entrepreneurs, and international delegates, while celebrating the state’s rich heritage.
A major highlight is the One District One Product (ODOP) Pavilion in Hall No. 9, featuring 343 stalls dedicated to signature products from each district, including Bhadohi carpets, Firozabad glasswork, Moradabad metalware, and Saharanpur woodcraft. The pavilion is designed to facilitate networking, business collaborations, and partnerships for startups and designers.
The trade show will also host the Russia-India Business Dialogue on September 26, bringing together policymakers, industrialists, financial institutions, and academia to strengthen economic cooperation and explore technological partnerships and joint ventures. The IT and Electronics Department will showcase a live AI model in a 200-square-meter pavilion equipped with modern amenities, including a curved LED wall, smart video displays, a VIP lounge, and a dedicated startup zone.
Visitors will enjoy traditional delicacies such as Moradabadi dal, Banarasi paan, Mathura peda, and Khurja’s khurchan, alongside cultural performances of Bhojpuri, Awadhi, Bundeli, and Tharu folk traditions, Sufi music, and Kathak recitals. On September 27, MoUs will be signed with 27 premier educational institutions to provide opportunities for students, alumni, and industry collaboration, while a Khadi fashion show under the CM Yuva Yojana will further promote innovation and entrepreneurship.
